Talking to himself again...
John Kimmons has spent all of his working life in show business, beginning his professional career at the tender age of 15.
He cut his teeth performing at children's birthday parties and from these humble beginnings moved on to work in every conceivable type of venue from village halls to theatres, luxury cruise liners and television.
It began solely as a magic act, but in later years the ventriloquism has been taking over, with characters like Charlie Clifton and Jambo the Gorilla regularly showing up to steal the limelight.
John's first big break came in 2008 at Blackpool Opera House, when he was awarded the title of 'Children's Entertainer World Champion' and also received the Ken Dodd Award for Comedy. Since then he has been in great demand both as a comedy act and as a lecturer and consultant to other entertainers.
His act has taken him across the world and he has performed at some of the most prestigious venues, such as the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood and the Magic Circle Headquarters in London.
The act is fresh and different, not to mention good clean family entertainment. Watch and laugh as a hand towel becomes a shrieking baby and drawings come to life, but watch out - you may find yourself part of the show!
